Enchantments are spells that you cast on equipment using enchantment scrolls. Enchantments give 1-3 percentage and/or flat bonuses to random stats on individual equipment, but also give heroes percentage stat bonuses and special abilities if you have 2 or 4 pieces of equipment with the same enchantment equipped on the same hero.
Note that 2-set bonuses from 2 different enchantments will stack and, in some cases, the extra stat bonus is more beneficial than the special ability from having 4 of the same enchantment. For example, Hard Rock is not recommended due to its low chance of triggering and small amount that it heals.
General Recommendations[]
The table below shows what enchants are most commonly used based on the hero's role.
Role | Enchant | Alternatives |
---|---|---|
Tanks | Steel | Full Moon or Tree of Life for conversion tanks (e.g. Grenier, Vargas) |
Healers | Crystal | |
Mages | Breeze | Clock for AoE specialists |
Attackers | Breeze | |
Assassins | Breeze |
Note that there are specific heroes who will benefit more from specific enhantments outside their general role due to their specific skills and talents. For example, Shelfaniel is a Mage and AoE specialist, but her Talent and 3c Skill have built-in cooldown reductions so a Clock enchant will not be as useful on her.
Maximums[]
In addition to the bonuses mentioned above, each time you enchant a piece of equipment, it gains random percentage and/or flat bonuses to 1-3 random stats. The maximum possible percentages and flat stats for each type of equipment are shown below.
Chances[]
The tables below show the ranges and probabilities for getting different enchant values depending on the type of equipment and rarity of the enchantment scroll used. In short, SSR scrolls have a 5% chance and SR scrolls have a 2% chance of getting stat boosts within the highest range.
