Biography[]
Lester is a former pirate who now serves under the Great Sage, Jessica. Being a man of the seas, he has a straight-forward and casual attitude. Despite his rough appearance, however, he is quite loyal. When Lester was young, he had his life saved by Jessica and has admired her ever since. He is old friends with Keith.
Story[]
Elwin and his companions first meet Lester when they travel to Rall River to meet with the Great Sage. Lester stops the group, quite suspicious of their intentions. Lester allows them to meet the Great Sage after realizing his good friend, Keith, is among the ragtag group. After the party speaks with Jessica and learns the location of the Dark Rod, however, Egbert of the Rayguard Empire's Black Dragon Sorcerers reveals his presence. Having successfully learned of the Rod's location, Egbert sets the land ablaze before teleporting away. Jessica, Lester, Elwin and the rest of the party are forced to retreat across the river to safety. However, platoons from the Ice Dragon Army and the Black Dragon Socerers waiting for them, preventing the group's retreat.
After fighting through the imperial squadrons, Lester, Elwin and the rest of his companions manage to escape the blaze. The party has little choice but to follow Egbert to Reitel. There they attempt to prevent the empire from acquiring the Dark Rod but are thwarted once more. Fearing Rayguard's next move, Jessica decides she must rally the surrounding nations to form a stronger anti-imperial alliance. She leaves Lester to watch over the group in her stead.
