Heroes are awakened in two stages. Completing the first Awakening stage increases the hero's Skill Cost maximum from 5 to 6 points. In this stage, you need to defeat three enemies one by one and you can only use the hero that you are awakening. Completing the second Awakening stage unlocks the hero's 3-cost skill. In this stage, you use the hero you are awakening and three other related heroes whose stats, skills and soldiers are preset and cannot be changed.
